Terrafugia Transition Update

Since the last update on the transition Terrafugia has began construction of the first prototype. The one transition flying is a ‘proof of concept’ roadable aircraft and not designated a prototype.
   The Prototype is planned to be release at Oshkosh on July 26th. It is significantly different to the proof of concept aircraft but still retains a strong design heritage according to Terrafugia. The seventy people who have placed early orders will have a much better idea what they are getting for their money when the prototype is released.
Everything seems to be going well at Terrafugia with finance in place and progress targets being met. Transition Video

Electric Aircraft.

Electric aircraft is an area that has that is about to come of age. Electraflyer is a company that started with electric powered trikes. It then converted a Moni motor glider to electric power as the Electrafyer C, and is now developing a 2 seat composite aircraft, the Electraflyer X.
There is not much information available on the Electraflyer X other than that it has a two hour endurance at 80 mph. It looks like a Motor Glider and that is the background of Randall Fishman, the owner and motivation behind Electraflyer.
