Woopy-fly

At first the woopy-fly looks like a weight shift vehicle with a pump up wing. It certainly takes the concept of the para-glider to a new level with the advantage of not having to lay out a chute and
  getting it to fill and lift. Packs away nice and small and you could put a few on your Blimp Mobile for local mobility. Easy and quick to assemble. What more could you want?
But there is much more to Woopy-fly than that. It is a very clever new concept in control.

according to airspeed. The centre of lift is concentrated on the forward section of the wing and then as the lift zone moves the changing pressures pull the ‘nose’ of the wing leading edge up or down.
This in turn pulls on the surfaces of the wing to lift or lower the trailing edge of the wing. At high speed the wing has a pronounced ‘reflex” section and at low speed no reflect.

  The wing becomes self stabilizing. Pushing the trapeze forward increases the angle of attack on the wing and the airfoil shape automatically changes to a slow speed aerofoil. Pulingl the trapeze back lowers the angle of attack and causes the wing to adjust to a reflex aerofoil for higher speeds.
This is a continuous process that makes the aircraft self- trimming under all circumstances.
The Woopy-fly will not stall. The wing just changes section and will not go beyond that point. This is a true shape shifter wing that just stays stable.
Unlike conventional weight shift aircraft the trapeze only moves backward and forward. The two sides of the trapeze move back and forth independently and act as wing warping for turning.
This is of course a very much simplified explanation of the aerodynamics involved but the overall effect is that the wing changes shape to whatever shape is stable under the immediate conditions.
